Two scary looking B-2 stealth bombers came my way the other day.

Had a short first session with the 1040, tail mounted. Bigger chop, a good 40 min ride in 9m/s, then low/unstable. 83cm mast. Flux 4.3m wing. Took the bigger 90L Appleslice V3. (it's narrow, but a bit more all-round than the regular midlength shapes)
- Took me 30 min to get used with the pitch control (that is, before removing the tail..) Then the Sea Devil felt forgiving, and agile at the same time, with very nice and quick feedback.
- No more wide lightwind frontwing wrestling when turning, just think "turn"..
- Breaching practically no issue at all.
- Floats up quickly in "the right chop" with a not so wide board, keep a hand on it if you are not starting right away. No big deal.
- A little humming. No big deal.
- Mast foot at least 10cm further forward, compared to my other setups.
- Even with tail it is more agile than most beginners would prefer.
